Troop Supply Drive

I am very happy to report that my supply drive for the troops has been a huge success. I was dubious when the box I had placed in the company break room was still empty a day before the deadline I had sent, but having a little faith certainly worked because today I shipped out 4 huge boxes weighing over 100 pounds, full of supplies for the troops. I chose 3 different units to support, all of them from Florida. The boxes should all make it there by Christmas Eve, which is awesome. I feel really good about myself today. I organized this all by myself and actually brought the project to a successful conclusion. It feels so good doing things for other people...especially the soldiers overseas. I hope to hear back from some of them, though I will survive if I don't...they have a lot on their minds after all. I am planning to write to them though, and a few others that I found through the Any Soldier site.
